The North York Astros are hoping to make their presence felt in this years CSL Playoffs and if the last two matches are any indication, teams may want to stand up and take note. The Astros coming off a 1-1 draw with the Leagues first place and undefeated York Region Shooters last week, dominated the CSL 2013 Champions SC Waterloo Sunday night  4-1.

At the 14 minute mark Boris Milicic opened the scoring for the Astros who went ahead 2 nil on a goal by Wiler Costa at the 35 minute mark. Astros took that 2-0 lead into the dressing room and the half but came right back out and built their lead to three on a Jose Desousa goal 1 minute into the second half (46th minute). SC Waterloo added a goal three minutes later by Kiril Dimitrov but it was too little to late as Astro’s Darragh Roe put the game out of reaching the 73rd minute.

The Astros have one game remaining at home on Sunday October 5th against Niagara United before heading into the playoffs kicking off the following week.
