Astros Suffer Heartbreak

Astros drop heartbreaking 2-1 decision in extra time.

The Serbian White Eagles were able to advance to the Canadian Soccer League Semi-Finals with a 2-1 victory over the Astros in extra time. Milos Scepanovic opened the scoring in the 10th minute for the White Eagles putting one past Astros goalie Josh Lemos. The Astros equalized the game in the 47th minute on a goal by Franco Lalli setting the stage for extra time. In the 116th minute however, it was Alex Bratelic of the White Eagles who was able to break the stalemate and give the White Eagles the victory sending them into the next round.

The White Eagles now join Portugal FC, Trois Rivieres and Italia in the final four of the Canadian Soccer League.
