The 2008 CSL Playoffs Quarter-Final Games begin on Friday October 10th at Esther Shiner Stadium with the 2nd ranked Italia Shooters taking on the 7th ranked Brampton Lions at 8pm.

The Astros finished in 6th place in the overall standings and will take on the 3rd ranked Serbian White Eagles at Esther Shiner Stadium on Saturday October 11th at 6pm. Throughout the season, the two teams met twice with the White Eagles coming out on top both times by a score of 3-1. However, the playoffs are a different brand of soccer and the Astros hope this will result in a more positive result and move on to the semifinals.

In other Quarter-Final matchups this weekend the top ranked Trois Rivieres Attak take on the St. Catharines Wolves on Saturday October 11th at 3pm at the Univeristy Stadium and in the final matchup, 4th ranked Toronto Croatia takes on 5th ranked Portugal FC on Friday October 10th at 8pm at the Hershey Centre.

The CSL will re-seed for the Semi-Final round with the highest remaining seeds playing the lowest remaining seeds. Starting on October 17th through to October 19th.

The final game will be at Esther Shiner Stadium on October 26, kick off 5:45pm.
